Delilah’s Passion Excerpt

My book has officially been out for five days so I thought it was time that I share an excerpt.

“Delilah,” he rounded the bike to stand in front of her.  He put a finger beneath her chin, forcing her to meet his eyes.  “Good night.”  He inched his head forward, slowly closing the distance, giving Delilah time enough to back out if she needed to.

She didn’t.

He pressed his lips against hers chastely at first, his plush lips gentle on hers.  Delilah’s moan snapped his restraint and his mouth mirrored hers, opening slightly and tasting her.  She was sweet, like the mini doughnuts she’d had for breakfast, and then again for dessert.   His hand moved out from under her chin and cupped her cheek softly, sweetly.  His tongue slipped out, tasting her thoroughly, brushing against hers in an erotic dance.

She moaned into his mouth; her heart was racing in time with his as his free hand slid gently down her back, came to rest on the swell of her hip and pulled her firmly against him.   His fingers dug into the flesh just above her butt, gripping her desperately.  He kissed her chastely again one more time before pulling back slightly, resting his forehead against hers.

“Unless you’re ready to take this further, you’d better head upstairs.”

She could feel his words on her skin.  Delilah bit back a smile and nodded, backing towards the stairs, refusing to break eye contact.  She fumbled in her purse for her keys but couldn’t work the lock without looking.

“Goodnight,” she closed the door behind her.  She flipped the deadbolt, locked the door and sagged against it, her fingertips resting lightly on her lips.

You can read the rest of Aiden and Delilah’s story in Delilah’s Passion.
